Up In The Club: June Celebrity Fashion at The Pool After Dark ...

Posted: 30 Jun 2014 11:42 AM PDT

Black and button downs seem to be the themes of the month for celebrity fashion at The Pool After Dark at Harrah's Resort Atlantic City as the majority of the celebs kept it pretty cas this month on the red carpet.

Fatman Scoop started out the month on June 6th in his usual, classic attire.

Fatman Scoop

A black tee, folks.

Kicking it to Sisqo the next week, he was back in black too, but kind of in an old school way?

Sisqo

Is that mesh or pleather? We can't tell. The zipper action is kind of cool, though. If you're gonna bring it back to the Thong Song, might as well bring it back in dress too!

Brody Jenner and William Lifestyle were the perfect pair for The Pool in June because they obvs got the memo: Black and Button Down. One and one. 50/50. Equal.

Brody Jenner

As did Frankie Muniz because he's wearing BOTH!

Frankie Muniz

A grey button down with some classic, black jeans. Guys really can't go wrong with this look.

The Ying Yang Twins knew what they were doing too.

Kaine threw a little camo into the mix as well. We like that. While D-Roc wore nothing less than…A BLACK BUTTON DOWN!

Check out Drake Bell, though.

Drake Bell

A button down, yet very rockabilly. That's his thing. And he does it quite well. Aye, aye captain.

The one exception to the June rule:

Dorothy Wang

The lady. Dorothy Wang. She brought the sparkle and the sexy. Just what girls are supposed to do in a sea of men. We're sure she paid a pretty penny for it too. She is a rich kid of Beverly Hills after all! But it was well worth it and well needed at The Pool After Dark at Harrah's Resort this month!

What will July bring? MARIO and Scott Disick will begin to tell us this Friday and Saturday!

Is Celebrity fashion becoming a bad influence on the younger ...

Posted: 02 Jul 2014 01:50 AM PDT

It's fair to say that some celebrities have always dressed promiscuously whether it is to get more attention or simply just because they want to, but it seems to be becoming a regular occurrence now, especially considering the younger celebrities.

Most people are aware of the well-known Miley Cyrus who first started her career on Disney Channel playing Hannah Montana yet now she is known for her notorious sexual dance moves and her skimpy costumes which many believe is not suitable for her fan base, being mainly young girls from around the ages of 9-18.
Most of us expect this from such celebrities as Rihanna and Nicki Minaj but is it really acceptable for young girls who are fans of women such as Cyrus to be subject to this sexualised behaviour and fashion trend. Recently she has even been voted as the 'worst role model for young girls' which can't be much to celebrate about.

So is this fashion really tainting the minds of young girls and presenting the idea that it is ok to dress in a certain way, or is it just a big performance that nobody really does care that much about? Some people believe that although these celebrities are forever in the media it is the parents job to set boundaries and explain to their children that it is merely a show and that the clothing worn is inappropriate, after all, celebrities aren't mothers to every young girl in the country.

Celebrity Fashion | Who Wore it Better - The Trend Spotter

Chloe Moretz Vs. Jennifer Hudson

We love Jennifer Hudson and she knows just how to dress her curves, and her outfit choice for the Pre-Grammy gala this year was no exception. Hudson shone in the black shoulderless dress which features bright stripes of yellow, blue, white and red fabric, but she wasn't the only one who loved this dress.

Chloe Grace Moretz is just 17-years old, but she also knows how rock a dress which she proved at the Teen Choice Awards. However, although the young actress is beautiful, we found the style a little too mature for her and really think that Hudson wore it better this time around.

Emma Roberts Vs. Rumer Willis

We love navy dresses, and so to do Emma Roberts and Rumer Willis. However the We're The Millers actress and Bruce Willis and Demi Moore's daughter decided to wear the patterned frock in different ways. Emma opted to pair the look with a bold statement necklace, cute ankle booties and a navy clutch bag, while Rumer decided the dress spoke for itself and needed no accessories other than a pair of plain black pumps.

Selena Gomez Vs. Miley Cyrus Vs. Taylor Swift

These stars are all around the same age, and it seems that they all have similar taste in style too as they have all been spotted wearing Wildfox red and white star sweaters paired with shorts. A cute casual ensemble, although, not sure we are loving the sweater unless you're under 21.

Paloma Faith Vs Alexa Chung

This is probably one of the biggest cases of copy cats, Paloma Faith and Alexa Chung not only wore the same pink lace Burberry dress, but they also wore similar overcoats. We adore Alexa Chung and she has become the style icon to most woman and she looked gorgeous once again when she wore this ensemble late last year at her Eyeko launch in NYC when she paired this feminine dress with a masculine overcoat and then opted to mix prints with solids by wearing leopard print loafers. Gorgeous! On the other hand, Paloma decided to opt for a more feminine look and paired her pink lace dress with a beautiful pastel blue overcoat, metallic silver bag and matching shoes.

Nicki Minaj Vs. Brandy

Nicki Minaj loves to be daring with her fashion choices and she's really quite the innovator. But when the 31-year-old star attended the Billboard music awards she decided to opt for a rather modest look and wore an Alexander McQueen black cutout crepe gown completed with gold cuff bracelets.

On the other hand, a slightly slimmer brandy decided to wear the exact same dress with simple black sandals, minimal jewellery and a simple black clutch. Both kept their looks classy and the figure hugging dress flattered both their body shapes.

However, Minaj did have a little boob slip, and because of her underboobage, we have to give Brandy the title of who wore it best.

Solange Knowles Vs. Iggy Azalea

Hmmm, what girl doesn't love Jimmy Choo's? Well, we have spotted two celebrities: Solange Knowles and Iggy Azalea who also couldn't get enough of JC's strappy, open toed Orange Damsen Sandals. But the question is, who wore them better?

Firstly, Beyonce's baby sister went bold and bright in an orange jacket and skirt combo complete with matching orange shoes, while the "Work" singer decided she'd let her shoes make the statement and toned down her look with a harnessed black dress to accompany them.

In our opinion, Iggy played it safe, and we love Solange's daring look and the colour perfectly completed her skin tone. But tell us who you think wore these gorgeous shoes the best!
